EXTERIOR CONDITION
The paint color is Estoril Blue Metallic and the top is a black canvas top in great condition with a liner and a clear rear plastic window. It looks really good and there are no door dings in the rest of the car's paint. There is one paint chip at the leading edge of the hood, no more than the size of an ant..
The windshield is in excellent shape.
All wheels are the standard 17-inch M-wheels with Kumho Ecsta tires. The wheels are in very good condition and the tires have about 50% of tread-depth remaining on the front tires, about 70% on the rear tires. Chrome, rubber bumpers, etc. are all in excellent condition. The windows are not tinted.
INTERIOR CONDITION
SEATS: Magma leather (light brown) and have been cleaned and treated with Leatherique. They are in very good condition. All seat and headrest controls work perfectly, with manual adjustments.
DASH DISPLAYS: All work with no missing pixels.
KEYS: I have one key to the car, and one valet key. The key has a light in it that works as it should when the button is depressed. This car does not currently have keyless entry.
RADIO: Works perfectly. The car is equipped to have a factory 6-disc CD changer installed (about $125 on eBay if you so desire).
I have just installed a brand new OEM BMW leather shift knob, so the interior shows virtually no wear except for regular wear to the front seats and wear to the original floor mats.
ENGINE AND MECHANICAL CONDITION
I know of no mechanical problems with this car. The steering wheel sometimes squeaks very quietly, but other than that the car is in outstanding mechanical condition.
The convertible top operates just as it should, completely hands-free.
All brake pads are fine. The transmission shifts as it should with perfect clutch operation.
The tires have just been balanced and the car just had a full 4-wheel alignment performed.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The HVAC system functions perfectly, with the heater blowing hot air as it should and the air conditioner blowing very cold air, cold enough to combat our Texas heat. The car features dual automatic climate control.
OTHER INFORMATION
The car has its original window sticker, and also comes with the plastic piece that can be attached to the front bumper in states that do not require a front license plate. The car features traction control, a limited-slip differential, cruise control, one-touch window controls including a one-touch button that lowers or raises all windows at the same time.
